Catholic Charismatic Renewal is the Charismatic Renewal movement within the Catholic Church. Charismatic Renewal, often understood as a renewal and activation of the power and gifts from the Holy Spirit, originates from the promise of Jesus Christ our Lord. “And behold I am sending the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” (Luke 24:49) “for John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 1:5).
