What is Catalina?
A yummy salad dressing! Seriously, the company which runs the RR program for Walgreens is called Catalina Marketing. They develop and program the coupon printers that print out the Register Rewards. Frequently, you will get other coupons and marketing messages from the Catalina machine based on your purchases. Besides Walgreens, you will also see these printers at many other stores such as Kroger, Safeway, etc. Folks here and on many other forums and boards will refer to these printed coupons as a “Catalina” or a “Cat”.
