Cardiorespiratory endurance is the capacity of your heart, blood vessels, and lungs to function efficiently during sustained, vigorous activity such as running, swimming, biking, etc. Aerobic capacity is the functional measurement of this type of physical fitness. It can be measured in various ways based on the measurement of maximal oxygen uptake. You may see the terms cardiorespiratory endurance, aerobic capacity, and aerobic endurance used synonymously.
