What is car suspension?
A car’s suspension is made up of different parts which work together to create a smoother ride for the vehicle’s driver and passengers. Shocks or struts and springs make up the basics of a car’s suspension.ShocksShocks are viscous fluid-filled cylinders located next to each tire that have a series of pressurized tubes containing chambers. The chambers allow the viscous fluid to pass between them. When the car hits a bump, the fluid passes through holes in the chambers. It passes through a set of larger holes, then a set of smaller holes. The fluid reverses as the car stabilizes, flowing back slower through the smaller holes first, making the impact seem less abrupt by minimizing the movement of the wheel.
