Camila is used as an oral contraceptive (birth control pill). Camila prevents pregnancy by changing the body s hormone balance. How To Use Camila Take the first pill on day 1 of menstruation. Take it with food or immediately after a meal to prevent stomach upset. Camila should be taken daily at the same time each day. Use a supplemental form of birth control during the first two months of taking Camila since it takes a while to be effective. Camila Side Effects Camila may cause weight gain, depression, fatigue, acne, oily scalp, hair loss, decrease in breast size and may increase susceptibility to yeast infections. If these effects persist or become intolerable, inform your doctor.
