What is Call Forwarding Variable and how do I use it with my Business Class Voice service?
Call Forwarding Variable allows you to forward all your incoming calls to another number when you’re away from home. To use Call Forwarding Variable: Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone. Press *72, and wait to hear the dial tone again. Dial the number where you’d like to have your calls forwarded. Remember to dial 1 plus the area code before the number if it’s necessary to place the call. Listen carefully. Depending on your region, you will either: Hear a confirmation tone indicating the feature has been activated. Or Hear a courtesy call being placed to the number. If the party answers, the feature has been activated. If the number is busy or no one answers, repeat steps 1-3 within 2 minutes, and you will hear a confirmation tone indicating the feature has been activated.
