This was my third bad experience at the Charlotte/Stonecrest location involving a long wait for a table. This time, I thought I had solved the problem with the so-called “Call-Ahead Seating”. After being informed that my 8pm call-ahead seating would take place at 9-9:30 pm, I left for another restaurant and was seated in 14 minutes. Firebird’s should change the designation of this system to “Call-Ahead Waiting”. • Pros: Good steaks • Cons: No resrvation system, “Call-Ahead Seating” puts you on a 1-1/2 hour waiting list. Your kids will drive you nuts waiting on a table.
