What is Business Management Technology: Information Systems?
The information systems (IS) option of the business management technology program provides students with a solid foundation in computing techniques and principles as they relate to a broad variety of business applications. In keeping pace with the ever-changing business demands for the future, students must be able to effectively utilize information and information technologies. The goal of the information systems option is to provide students with a sound understanding of computer technologies that supports the management of information systems. A strong focus will be placed on both the business and technical issues essential to managing the information resources in today’s — and tomorrow’s — workplace. UC’s Raymond Walters College (RWC) offers professional certificates for students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree and who wish to acquire additional skills and knowledge.
