What is Building Abatement and how does it help me?
The building abatement service is all about safety within the structures in which we live, work, play and worship. It’s also about preserving our property values and the quality of life we share within each of our neighborhoods. Unfortunately, due to a myriad of reasons, sometimes structures fall into disrepair or had improvements constructed prior to City approval. The Building Abatement team goes to work with the responsible party to identify the safety concerns present, then seeks to establish acceptable solutions and a timeframe which will return the structure to an acceptable level of safety as defined by State and local codes.
