What is Budweiser B3 beer and is it only sold in the United States?
I can’t find any solid reference to Budweiser B3 beer. I checked Budweiser’s website which, as one might expect, has more references to stuff other than beer (music, mobile phone service, auto racing and other sports, various other pop culture stuff) that actual information on their products was difficult to discern. As a side note, I think this does a lot to reflect thir priorities. They even had a recipe for something they called Ginger Beer, which was essentially beer and ginger (oh, c’mon!). At any rate, I seem to remember something called B3, but I think it might have gone to market as Budweiser Select. The claim is that this is a low-carbohydrate beer with no aftertaste. Now, when someone from Anheuser-Busch told me this at a tasting stand in a liquor store, my response was “And…that’s a good thing?” Well I suppose that if the only aftertaste you can muster is a bad aftertaste, then no aftertaste at all would be an improvement.
