What is Buddy B-500?
Buddy B-500 is an Ultra Thin Client solution, utilizing Direct Video Drive technology, enabling two or more users to share the computing power and resources of a single computer running Win95/98 (support up to 5 users), Win/NT 4.0 Server Terminal Server Edition – with Citrix Metaframe or Applica for TSE, Citrix Winframe 1.7, SCO Xenix, SCO Unix, SCO Open Desktop or SCO Open Server (support up to 33 users). Buddy B-500 is targeted at the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), branch offices or functional workgroups of large companies. You simply install Buddy B-500 into your existing computer (Host PC), connect additional monitors, keyboards and mouses to allow multiple users to share its processing power, storages, peripherals, modem, network access and run applications independently. Users can also concurrently and independently surf the internet through only one modem, one telephone line and one Internet Service Provider account.
