What is Brio Birth’s philosophy surrounding childbirth?
We believe birth is a normal and natural event and, for the most part, can be handled with little to no interventions. We also believe that education is key to helping mothers, fathers and their families to be the healthiest they can be and to have the best birth possible. We feel strongly that the cesarean, infant mortality and maternal mortality rates are far too high. We also support, encourage and educate mothers, fathers and their families on breastfeeding. We desire the initial rates and duration rates to improve dramatically for the health of the family.
