Brandcameo features commentary on films and brands estimating viewer perception and evaluating the prominence of placements based on such factors as positive/negative use in a scene, integration seamlessness and placement history. Brandcameo’s database is cross-referenced and currently dates back to January 2001. Brandcameo tracks not only brand and products that have intentionally been placed in a film (through agency arrangement or payment) but also inadvertent brand and product appearances. Brandcameo’s archive cross-references all product appearance data alphabetically, by year and number of appearances for films dating back to January 2001.
