What is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth refers to a radio technology making it possible to transmit signals over short distances between telephones, computers and other devices, without the use of wires for the purpose of exchanging information. For example, Bluetooth capability allows information from a PDA to be downloaded to a laptop without a physical connection. Bluetooth can not be used to connect to the Internet.
Bluetooth® is a new wireless technology that enables connectivity between multiple electronic devices by utilizing a 2.4 GHz radio spectrum that has a range of approximately 10 meters (30 feet). Bluetooth will allow you to use your cell phone hands-free in the vehicle. For more information about Bluetooth wireless technology, please visit www.bluetooth.org.
Bluetooth is an industrial specification for wireless personal area networks (PANs). Bluetooth provides a way to connect and exchange information between devices such as mobile phones, laptops, PCs, printers, digital cameras, and video game consoles over a secure, globally unlicensed short-range radio frequency.
