– The latest evaluation version is always available for download from the usual location, identified with a build number ( like: “build 1.0.261”). To check if you have the latest version, please compare this build number with the one available at the top left corner of the ReadMe.htm file, on your Turbine’s installation directory. Registered users receive automatic notifications each time a new updated version is released, and can freely download it at any time. When an error is found and fixed we try to release an updated version as soon as possible (with accurate tests and full regression testing, of course), instead of releasing a base version and a set of patches (for example like the NT service packs). Since the installation process is simple and fast we believe this to be the best solution.
