What Is Bladeless IntraLASIK?
As its name implies, Bladeless IntraLASIK surgery, or iLASIK, doesn’t require a blade to create the cornea flap.Traditionally, a machine called a microkeratomeis used to physically cut the flap.This machine is hand-held and is commonly cited as the source of many LASIK surgery complications.
