What is biological evolution by natural selection?

0

What an awesome question! Natural selection is a process where those most suited to survive and adapt will do just that. When it is explained in terms of evolution it just means the species that was best suited to adapt to an environment. If there were 2 species of lion living in Africa say one white lions and other brown the white lion would be natural selected for extinction because it would be unable to survive.A white lion would never last because of its coat it would be easy to spot and that would make it damn near impossible to hunt. Therefore it would become extinct and the brown lion would dominate.A species being wiped out hardly sounds like evolution but it is nessecary for the survival of the earth as a whole.
