What is BillPayer?
A. BillPayer is Ascentra Credit Union’s new Internet bill payment service, and it is available to all members who have signed up, and are eligible, for our Online Account Access home banking service. Online Account Access users who enroll in BillPayer can initiate and track payments to anyMercant or individual, with the exception of government agencies (including but not limited to federal, state and local taxing authorities). BillPayer will help you to reduce time spent writing checks as well as reduce your postage costs.
BillPayer is an electronic way to pay your bills with your personal computer. You can arrange to make a payment just once or on an ongoing basis. You can also schedule payments in advance. To use BillPayer, you ll need a Hawthorne Checking Account and access to Hawthorne s online banking. Contact Member Services if you need either of these.
