What is Bill Clinton talking about when he says Hillary is being swift boated?
“Swift boating” means revealing the truth about a person. I don’t think anyone told Bill what it really means. I believe that he thinks it means when you say something bad about a person. It doesn’t mean that what they reveal is incorrect, just not very flattering. It originated when the Swift boat veterans told the truth about how Kerry behaved during his military stint. These veterans were upset that Kerry was so freely lying about his military record, so they went on TV and told the truth. Needless to say, Kerry didn’t appreciate the truth coming out on national TV. Although he denied it, Kerry to this day has not disputed what they said, which just further proves it is the truth. And he still hasn’t released his military record. I guess he never will since it would prove what a liar he is. Nobody really cares anymore anyway. But the term lives on. More ought to “swiftboat” these liars. We need for the truth to get out.
