Bexhill is not a bad place for young people and slowly getting better. There is a good youth club at the Station Road Community Centre on a Tuesday night which is professionally run and the town has the usual mix of sporting clubs. Its safe generally for teenagers to be out with friends in the town centre and parks at a reasonable times (not 10.00pm at night for example!) And there is the beach in summer which is great. Not everything is provided that you might find in a bigger town but Hastings and Eastbourne are easy to reach on the bus or train for swimming pools. Bexhill High is a large school which I would describe overall as being fair. The school has the usual problems of large state schools with loosing staff but no violence or bullying. My kids both go there and enjoy it and are doing OK. There is a brand new building going up ready i think next year?
