What is better WordPad or Microsoft Works Word Processor?

by saying you don’t have Microsoft Windows, I’m assuming that you mean you do not have Microsoft Word on your computer. As not having Windows means your computer does not have an operating system that is used to run other programs. And to answer your question; determining which program is better depends upon what you need to write. You used HTML as one of your topics, so if your intent is to write website code, you would probably want to use the wordpad program, and save as plain TXT docs. If your writing reports, letters, etc. then you probably want to use the Works Processor, so that you have access to a spellchecker, etc. And if you need higher functionality with your word processor, then might I suggest you check out Open Office. www.openoffice.org This is an open source office program that is compatible with MS office apps and works very well.
