vet tech does way more.a vet tech is with a certain vet each, so what that vet does you do.the vet is performing sugrey you help hi.you clean up after surgrey,cleant he rooms,take temps,tests,and much more.you expose dead bodies of animals. so if you cant handle blood smells and gross stuff do not become a vet tech.the assitant is more the person who takes you back to the room.and does little. and i think the tech gets paid more around 12 $ a hour.. at least my sis who is a vet tech gets aid 12. good luck!
