A. Hydroponics is a great way to grow plants, just not in a pc grow box. The problem with hydro in a pc case is you have to check PH levels, nutrients levels, and water reservoir levels at least twice a day due to the small reservoir size. This process can become a pain very quickly, and sort of defeats the purpose of growing in a stealth box. You also must be willing to sacrifice nearly 25% of the vertical grow space to be able to fit the reservoir in the case, and be willing to risk losing your crop in a matter of a few hours because the PH level or Nutrient levels were slightly off. You can also say goodbye to taking any vacation longer than 12 hours unless you can find someone to take care of your plants who knows what they’re doing. Is it worth spending an extra $300 for a hydro setup in a computer case? The simple answer is NO.
