What is better Pentium or AMD Athlon for making…..?
Hi, welcome to the world of pc shopping. The more you spend on the processor the better the power. AMD is cheaper but I have not met a person that has not had problems with crashes and over heating. Intel is expensive but more stable. You only need High end processors for resource hungry applications. Sounds like a mid range Core 2 duo would be fine for you. Building your own pc is cheaper if you have done it before and know what to buy. You have to buy Motherboards, ram and CPUs that are compatible with each other. If you are spending money on the cpu, don’t skimp on the motherboard(MOBO) or you will regret it. You can always buy a cheaper pc and upgrade it after trial running it with your music program.
