What is better gameport or USB controllers?
A. I’d suggest USB 95% of the time- if your system is USB capable. USB offers quick connection, Plug-and-Play, and usually a quicker interface. USB is still limited in some respects. It requires Windows 98 for full function, doesn’t yet allow easy multi-device setups (i.e. USB yoke with separate rudder pedals and throttle) and is sometimes poorly implemented making it a slower interface than the old gameport. Do your research before buying either.
