What is better for my mustang nitros or supercharger?
If money is no object go with the supercharger. They’re always “on” and can actually improve mpg during normal driving by increasing efficiency of the combustion. I had NOS cheater system and switched between level 1 and 2 on a 289 (4.8L). A 10 lb bottle would last about one and a half weekend days then had to refill, which was expensive, took a day and wasn’t available too many places. I also noticed a change to the performance as the bottle depleted. First shots were excessive (couldn’t hold the button down) and towards the end the excessive fuel bogged down the engine to the point of stall. Would recommend getting a regulator to prevent this, which my system didn’t come with and NOS did not offer at the time.
