What is better for kitchen counters, granite or quartzite?

Granite is the best thing for resale value. Natural stone will hold its value over time. Quartzite looks just as good, but since it’s synthetic, people just don’t value it as much. It’s significantly much more cost-effective, too. Personally, I like the look of slate or soapstone but it’s not as popular as granite and if you plan on selling your home in less than 5 years, granite is the way to go. If you plan on living in your home for a while, if you can find a good concrete contractor, they’re doing amazing things with it these days.
