What is better for gaming AMD or Intel?
amd is always better for gaming as its price is lower while it has about the same performance, so you can use the extra money for a better graphics card, however, if you have extra money, getting an i7 would be good too. heres a amd processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as… and a intel processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as… you wouldnt see any differences in these 2 processor right now as theres no actual games that is optimized for the i7, however in the future the i7 will be about 1.2 times faster and that is about all, so it may last longer but probably not enough for an extra 100 dollars. so amd will do better.
