What is Benzedrine?
Benzedrine is another name for amphetamine. Amphetamine, also called dexamphetamine, is an addictive stimulant drug which is the chemical basis for ecstacy, e, crystal meth, and others. Originally it was popularised as a slimming (appetite suppressant) drug, when it was combined with a low dose of sedative to counter the anxiety that many users used to suffer. Also known as uppers. Addictive, and best avoided, except for very short periods of time when alertness is essential, and certainly for less than 14 days. Side effects include psychotic mental disturbances, hallucinations, etc.
