What is bench press and how much should i start on?
I do not believe that you do not know what bench press is if you are 17 years old and have been doing weight training, but in regard to what you should start with that is easy, start with weights that you can confortabely lift and then you can always add to the weights later. There will be plenty of people who can point you in the right direction at the gym, but you should avoid overdoing things early in your training as you may do yourself damage, but if you persist and train regularely for some years and eat the right food you will end up being one of the guy`s with the big muscles and the knowledge ( whom young guys may ask for advice in the future ).
