What is BelManage and what does it do?
BelManage ™ is a commercial asset discovery tool acquired and managed by Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) to gather and report on both hardware and software of Marine Corps computers throughout the Enterprise. This is a client-server product which consists of a client program installed on each computer and a single server which acts as both a collection point and an inventory data repository for reporting. The client program automatically inventories the hardware and software of its host each day transmits the results back to the server. This is all done transparently in the background with minimal impact on the computer itself.
