What is being done to keep trains clean?
CityRail is committed to providing you with clean trains. We: • clean train interiors daily and exteriors fortnightly, • remove litter from trains in service during off-peak day-time periods, and • remove graffiti as quickly as possible. Train cleaning is undertaken at a number of locations across the CityRail network including Bondi Junction, East Hills, Campbelltown, Liverpool, Gordon and Lindfield. These practices have resulted in an increase of over 300% more rubbish being removed from trains.
