What is being done to educate voters about autonomy?
The University is providing educational materials, such as this brochure, to the public and placing information on its Web page (UH Autonomy). University officials are talking to civic and community groups about the issue, and educational messages are airing that feature musical group Kapena, distinguished alumnus Sen. Dan Inouye and other UH supporters. In addition, a group of private citizens who feel strongly about autonomy is publicly advocating for passage of the amendment.
