The student body and the TJHSST diversity committee have hosted various discussions and forums on the issue of diversity at TJHSST. Thus far, there has been no formal program to educate the TJHSST student body as a whole on the benefits of diversity. However, this topic is addressed in various classes as it relates to the curriculum. This is especially true in the Humanities classes (10th & 11th grades) and in the Government and Literature classes in 12th grade. In the spring of 2003 the Principal hosted a student forum on affirmative action and diversity which was attended by about 400 students.
