What is being done to accommodate development projects that need signage to direct motorists to their sites?
As currently written, off-site signs arent allowed. There has been discussion about how these types of uses might be allowed. One idea has been to allow on-site or off-site signage interchangeably. In other words, if a property owner were allowed to have 50 square feet of signage, they may choose to allow their sign area to be used for a sign directing people to another location not located on their property.
