What is being a pharmacy assistant like?

I went to a pharmacy for my work experience and believe me (I think somebody already said this) is it very repetitive and at the pharmacy I was in, (which was relatively close to the town centre) around lunchtime, the custom died down and i was left stood around bored out of my face, but if you like talking to old people daily, signing insane amounts of prescriptions, checking drugs and standing up all day. That’s the job for you, but it’s not all bad, at least you’re helping people get better and sometimes (regarding that the staff are friendly) there is a small community in the pharmacy, which there was in my pharmacy where I worked.
