Bandwidth Usage or Data Transfer is the amount of “data” that is transferred across the Internet to or from your account. For example if you have 10 MB of data available on your site and have 100 visitors access all 10 MB (html, graphics, etc.) you would use approximately 1GB (gigabyte i.e. 1000MB) of bandwidth. Data transfer restrictions are imposed by all reputable hosting companies in order to control bandwidth usage and ensure a high service standards.
