WHAT IS BAND BOOSTERS?
The purpose of Band Boosters shall be to promote and encourage the instrumental music program at Camp Hill High School and Middle School; to offer material and moral assistance to said instrumental music program, to promote fellowship among the membership of the association; and to build and maintain an organization of adults which will help promote the general activities of the Camp Hill instrumental music program.
The Big Spring Band Boosters is an organization of adults interested in supporting the music programs in the Big Spring School District. The focus of the boosters is the support of the music staff/students and to raise money to get the “extras” that the music programs and music staff need to have superior music education in our schools. The boostersâ main goal is to support the music program and help supplement the budget offered by the school district. A budget is created each year in the early summer to pay for expenses in the upcoming school year. It is not unusual to have expenses come up during the season that are not in the initial budget. This happens because of the creative nature of what we do and the level of the performances that are expected of Big Spring High School. The purpose of the Band Boosters is to provide additional financial, organizational and moral support for band activities and programs of the Deer Creek Antler Band. Membership is open to parents or guardians of students enrolled in the Deer Creek Band programs, as well as adults who are interested in supporting those students.
