WHAT IS BANANA SPLITS?

0

Banana Splits is a peer support program run by Ms. MacCarthy for children whose parents are separated or divorced. Children whose parents have passed away or who never knew their parent are also invited. The group meets once a week for 7 weeks usually during lunch or recess. Banana Splits groups are voluntary and what we share in the group stays in the group. Groups are divided by grade level and begin with 4th graders, then 3rd graders, 2nd graders and finally 1st graders. You can talk to Ms. MacCarthy about the group any time during the school year.
