What is bad about the internet?
Although the internet has been a boon for, well, almost everything – our acceptance of new technology, including the internet, has been devastating for privacy. Your activity is tracked on a website with cookies, your activity on the web can be tracked by your ISP via your email address, and your data is being harvested by Echelon in the US. All of this information is available to companies and authorities – often to protect us or provide additional valued services, but the potential for abuse is huge. a couple of other reasons are Viruses & Freedom of Press.
