What is bachs style of music and chopins style and favourite instrument?

Bach belongs to the Baroque period and is well-known for writing contrapuntal/polyphonic music, i.e., combining more than one voices or melodies. He wrote for many instruments (winds, percussions, strings) and even chorales. As for the keyboard, he wrote mainly for the harpsichord as the piano was invented only much later. Chopin lived in the Romantic period although he was known to scoof off his colleagues and scholars claim that he was more of a classicist than a romantic. Being a big believer in Bach’s music himself, he studied Bach’s works and it shows in his compositions (rich in voicing) albeit with the romantic flare (rubato, innovative harmonies, etc.). He mostly wrote for the piano and some of his works still remain at the top of the piano literature even after 150+ yrs since their publication.
