Ask for more information when you visit your health care provider. The Ministry of Health is working with the Pharmacists’ Association of Saskatchewan in providing training opportunities using the Partnership to assist with the Cessation of Tobacco (PACT) program for health care providers, school staff, and others interested in assisting tobacco users in their efforts to quit. To access more information about the program visit: www.makeapact.ca . The Smokers’ Helpline is another service in the province which provides support to tobacco users as they take steps to quit. This service is provided through the Canadian Cancer Society, Saskatchewan division and funded by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health. This service is intended for adult users and has both a telephone and an online component.
