When ordering prints, you have the option to choose Auto Crop, which means we will re-size your photos to fit the print sizes you chose. The dimensions (height x width) of your digital image are not always the same as the print size you want to make from it. Therefore, some cropping (trimming) of your original image is often required to make it fit the paper size. We offer a variety of print sizes and each size may require a slightly different amount of cropping. Also, digital cameras can take images with different dimensions than film cameras, so some cropping is necessary to make them all fit on standard paper sizes. While the cropping we do is minimal, it may cut off important parts of the image located near the edge. This is why we offer more than one option. Note: Cropping applies to both horizontal (landscape) and vertical (portrait) photos.
