What is AuthDirects vision of the future of the Wi-Fi market?
AuthDirect was founded on the firm belief that ubiquitous wi-fi coverage is inevitable and will exist throughout most of the world. Our belief is that the path to this future will loosely follow the path of cellular back in the 1980’s where eventually end-user wireless roaming will become a common and transparent experience and the user equipment will get more powerful and useful in their everyday lives. (Who thought we’d all come to rely on the cell phone as we have?) Our expectation is that this future is still several years away while the industry together solves the multiple problems that still exist, however, many opportunities exist for the HotSpot operators today who can build a business and manage to adopt these technologies as they become fundamental methodologies. AuthDirect has proven to be a good partner for our customers who share this vision and look to us to help leverage these technologies by incorporating those appropriate into our products when they prove useful.
