What is ATV Ontario?
ATV Ontario is a marketing alliance. It is an umbrella organization that was set up to promote and market community-based ATV products and services. There are currently five partners in the alliance who pool funds through ATV Ontario, to promote and market their ATV offers. The partners use a community-based ATV Tourism model to form and / or manage their ATV product or service each of which supports shared use trails (ie EOTA trail permit, Parry Sound Jamboree etc). The fundamentals behind the program are: * An economic development stimulus that goes beyond local recreation (economic considerations addressing more than just the recreational ATV user) *Based on sound business principles that link communities to existing and potential travel consumers (drives tourism and income to the community, resulting in business and consumer support). * Responsible to all interests, with respect for the environment and public concerns (addresses environmental issues and achieves buy-in from the pub
