This force could be the kinetic energy of the liquid itself, kinetic energy of high velocity air or gas, mechanical energy applied externally through a rotating or vibrating device, the application of electromagnetic force or high frequency vibration. The devices used to perform atomization are called nozzles or atomizers. These devices are grouped based on the energy used to perform atomization and are called: Hydraulic nozzles.
