What is ASL, PSE and MCE?
American Sign Language (ASL) is a language of signs separate from English. ASL has its own unique grammatical structure. ASL signs are those generally used by the Deaf community. Raters expect to see Non-manual markers, use of classifiers and space during the Interpretation. Pidgin Sign English (PSE) is using ASL signs in English word order.
