What is ARZA’s relationship with AIPAC?
AIPAC is a lobbying organization that focuses almost exclusively on shaping the legislative agenda of the US Congress vis-à-vis Israel. ARZA is not a political lobbying organization. ARZA does sometimes work in partnership with organizations such as AIPAC, the Reform Movement’s Religious Action Center, the Israel Project and other organizations where ARZA can contribute to the effort and where the advocacy agenda is in line with ARZA’s stated mission to strengthen the relationship between North American Reform Jews and Israel and where we can help enhance the democratic, pluralistic and Jewish nature of the State of Israel.
