ARTSYS is the University System of Maryland Articulation System that facilitates the transfer of Maryland community college students to baccalaureate programs in Maryland 4-year public institutions. One component in ARTSYS allows students to input transcript information from any Maryland community college, select a receiving institution (UMCP) and program of study, and receive an evaluation of how their Maryland community college credit applies to the selected degree program. ARTSYS also allows a student to choose a major at UM and discover which community college courses are recommended for seamless transfer. ARTSYS is online at http://artweb.usmd.edu; a tutorial is included.
