What is articulation?
Articulation is the fitting of coursework taken at one (sending) institution into the program of another (receiving) institution. Some institutions may articulate entire programs with other institutions. UM evaluates courses individually and articulates the Associate Arts of Teaching from Maryland community colleges.
Articulation is a term used to describe the courses taught at MCC that the four-year institution will accept because the content is the same. Articulation agreements are official contracts between a four-year institution and MCC to guarantee the MCC associates degree will transfer to the four-year institution.
